Humanity has not visited the Moon, our closest celestial companion, since the Apollo 17 mission back in 1972.
Artemis program is looking to change that. A three man crew in 2026 has traveled for a week in an orbit around the Moon, which will be followed soon by several more crewed missions, the last one of which will be performing a moon landing for the first time in 50 years.
